STEPHEN
G. GORDON, ESQ. is a
matrimonial attorney, collaborative divorce lawyer and divorce
mediator. He maintains a

practice with an office in White
Plains, NY and
has
over twenty five years experience assisting clients through the often
treacherous terrain of divorce law. Experienced in the complex legal
issues
confronting divorcing couples and sensitive to the
emotional and
psychological
components of the process, Stephen assists in
the successful resolution
of the
often highly charged custodial and financial questions presented to
those
seeking divorce.
Stephen
earned his J.D. in
Law from Boston
University School of
Law in 1978. He graduated cum
laude
with a B.A. in English from the University of Rochester in 1973. He
has more than ten years teaching experience as an adjunct professor at
the
Graduate Program for Paralegal Studies at Mercy College and was
a high school English teacher before entered the legal
profession. He
has lectured extensively on topics related to divorce law to such
organizations
as the 12 Step Divorce Recovery Group and the Women's Justice
Center.
Stephen is an
active
member of the New York State Bar Association,
the Westchester County Bar Association and the White Plains Bar
Association.
