George holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in Financial Management from Pace University in New York City and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from St. Francis College, Brooklyn. George is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. He has also been trained in the Interdisciplinary Model of Collaborative Divorce. Approximately two-thirds of his practice involves divorce-related financial planning.

He has been in Financial Services since 1975. He has held positions with large money-center banks, trust companies, and a major brokerage firm. Firms include U.S. Trust Company, HSBC Bank USA, The Bank of New York, Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., Morgan Guaranty Trust Co., and Merrill Lynch. George currently is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Hudson Valley Collaborative Divorce Association, and Rotary International.
